How to Download HTML code from Siter

In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the process of exporting and downloading HTML code from your Figma designs using Siter. This feature is available on our Pro plans, enabling you to easily convert your designs into fully functional HTML code. Let's get started!

Step 1: Install the Figma to HTML Plugin

Before you can export your design to HTML, you'll need to install the Figma to HTML plugin. Here's how to do it:

  1. Open Figma and navigate to the plugin menu.
  2. Search for Figma to HTML and click Install.
  3. Once installed, the plugin will be available in your Figma plugins menu.

Step 2: Export Your Figma Design to Siter

With the plugin installed, you're ready to export your Figma design to Siter:

  1. Open the design file in Figma that you want to export.
  2. Select the frames you want to export, then choose the export option on Figma to HTML to send your design to Siter.

Step 3: Download the HTML Code

Now that your design is in Siter, you can easily download the HTML code:

  1. Open the exported design in the Siter editor.
  2. Look for the blue download button in the top-right corner of the editor.
  3. Click the download button, and your HTML file will be saved to your device.

Hosting Your HTML Website Files

Once you've downloaded the HTML code, you're free to host it on any static website platform. We recommend using Static.app for a seamless hosting experience.
